In 1952, a milk truck driver in upstate New York complained to Julius
Semann about the smell of spilled milk. To solve this problem, Julius combined
exceptional fragrances with a special blotting material and invented the first
car air freshener. He gave it the shape of an abstract evergreen tree to
commemorate his years of extracting aromatic oils in the pine forests of
Canada.
These air fresheners proved to be an effective, high-quality solution to a
common problem, and soon they were flying off the shelves. Orders began to come
in from all over the country and the fresheners quickly gained wide
international popularity. Today, Julius' innovative product has become a
subculture, a global symbol of freshness and quality. It has appeared in

The LITTLE TREES range has expanded significantly since the early days of
Royal Pine and now includes such favorite flavors as Vanillaroma, Black Ice and
New Car, all of which are produced at the factory in Switzerland.
