Founded in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, today TESA is a multinational company with 120 years of experience in the development and production of adhesives, adhesive tapes, adhesive systems and technologies for their use. The TESA range includes more than 7 thousand products for home, office and various industries: automotive, metalworking, construction, electronics, household appliances, general use, etc. “We create sustainable adhesive solutions that improve our customers' work and lives”.
In 1882, Beiersdorf AG was founded in Germany, and today it is the largest chemical producer in Europe with 150 branches and more than 21,000 employees worldwide. The most famous brands of the conglomerate are NIVEA, Eucerin, TESA and others. TESA is a separate business unit that produces adhesive tapes and adhesive components. With 5 production facilities on 3 continents (Germany, USA and China) and 63 representative offices, TESA satisfies consumers and business representatives in 100 countries, including Ukraine. Realizing the value of the future, TESA invests significant resources in its own developments, know-how and patents - about 600 engineers are involved in the company's RnD activities. Among the company's global customers are Apple and Samsung, for whom it produces adhesives used in the assembly of smartphones and tablets. TESA also supplies adhesive solutions for the automotive industry, including adhesives for windows, sensors, and displays. It is not surprising that in Europe, the TESA brand has become synonymous with adhesive tape and has even been included in the Duden dictionary. Such success and recognition are impossible without the concept of sustainable development, which is the main leitmotif of TESA's business. One of the areas is the replacement of adhesives with reusable or biodegradable substances in the production of batteries, cars, etc. Or, as an example, tesa is currently expanding its portfolio of more environmentally friendly packaging solutions and is launching seven eco-friendly tapes. Among them are two new tapes, tesa® 60408 and a paper-based tape that is 92% bio-based carbon. The paper-based tape is ideal for use on plastic-free mailing bags and envelopes - after the packaging is disposed of, the tape can be recycled along with the packaging material.
