The ZIRCONITE brand provides comprehensive surface protection against the negative effects of ultraviolet radiation and environmental and industrial pollution. Its system includes a range of professional invisible nanotechnology coatings designed to chemically bond at the nanoscale with a wide range of materials and resist fading and surface destruction. These materials include paints, plastics, gel coatings, glass, alloy wheels, chrome parts, brake calipers, aluminum, leather, and fabrics such as those used in convertible roofs. So whatever the surface, ZIRCONITE provides optimum protection and preserves the quality of the materials.
Concept Chemicals & Coatings Ltd (the originator of the ZIRCONITE
brand) was founded in 1987 by a team of dedicated chemists with over 20 years'
experience in the development of industrial coatings and detergents. In its
very first year, Concept launched a systematic PROFESSIONAL CHEMICAL PROGRAM,
which has been recognized as the UK's leading program of specialty chemicals
for the automotive exterior care industry.
Starting in the 1980s and throughout the 1990s, the development of
traditional car wax polish technology continued to advance rapidly to meet the
growing needs of professional users for formulas with better shine, faster and
easier to use, that leave no residue and have greater washability and longer
lasting results.
These performance demands have naturally led chemists to create new
polishing aluminum alloys, new silicone-wax combinations, new silicone resins
and new silicones with crosslinking properties designed to provide
longer-lasting coatings.
The constant search for ever higher standards of excellence led Concept to
develop a new polymer technology in 2004 that enabled their laboratory to
create a unique PTFE/acrylic wax hybrid coating enhanced by the revolutionary
new self-cleaning NANO technology.
This extraordinary new coating was released under the ZIRCONITE brand name, reflecting its durability and resistance, as well as its brilliant reflective properties. Since 2004, the ZIRCONITE brand has continued to evolve, offering new coatings and innovative technologies to professional users.
